Adjusted UK GDP for the fourth quarter

At 11:30 (Kiyv), the Office for National Statistics of Great Britain (ONS) will publish the revised value of the UK GDP for the fourth quarter of 2017.
It is expected that the report will confirm GDP growth of 0.5% in the last quarter of 2017, indicating the reliability of the fundamental foundations of the British economy. It is expected that the initially recorded GDP growth at an annual rate of 1.5% will also not be revised.
In the updated report on GDP, the value of investment in business will be added.
The pace of growth in the UK economy lags behind the global pace of economic recovery. However, the British economy managed to avoid the worst scenario, which was predicted after the vote in 2016.
This month, the Bank of England voted to keep the interest rate at the same level, but made a statement about the possibility of a more rapid increase in the interest rate and on a larger scale than was predicted a few months ago. Acceleration of the interest rate increase is associated with the need to curb inflation.
